My name is Jean Yves Berty, I was born in the wine region of St Emilion in France and I have been importing fine wine to Ireland since I moved here in 1988. My philosophy is simple: "Life is too short to drink bad wine, but you don't have to be rich to enjoy good wine either!" As a wine importer, I keep around 500 different wines on my list and in stock, but I have access to a lot more, so if you don't find what you are looking for or have a special request, please feel free to ring my direct line 086-2568262

I created this web-site to make my wines available to all. What I do is different from supermarkets and off-licenses. I don't concentrate on brands! Instead I travel to each and every vineyard, I know the winemakers, and I have tasted every wine on this website. My only focus is great wine at the best value for money!

I hope that you will find a lot to interest you here. The content is wide-ranging, from rare vintages and wheat beer to my very own House Wine, Yana, which is grown and blended under my personal supervision in Chile. I have crafted this wine specifically for the Irish market and it continues to be a most popular product.
